These are the Apple Butter Stirrers. They work around the clock. The Butter must be constantly be stirred or it will burn. The stirrers are comprised of Fire Dept. members and members of the community.
This pot is getting close to being done. It soon will be ready for sale.
This kettle is now ready for canning.
The canning, as you can see, is done on an assembly line basis. The Butter is still hot as they put it in the bottles. In the background you can see the men still stirring some of this batch. It has been cooking for about 14 hours.
Here are our guests getting ready for a fun day of dancing, eating, listening to good music and visiting with all the other guests.

Here are some of our ladies auxillary hard at work preparing hot dogs for our guests.

This is the Chicken or Ham Dinner, which is prepared in the Woolwine Elementary School cafeteria. It is prepared and served by our ladies auxillary, volunteer cafeteria staff, and our next door neighbors the Smith River Volunteer Rescue Squad.
