The picture to the right shows, The Ladies Auxiliary, women  putting together the take out orders, at the October Festival, of Chicken or Ham dinners with all the trimmings, from the vegetables, Cooked Apples, rolls or cornbread, to the many selections of homemade deserts and beverages.

June Pig Roast starts off the summer season with bluegrass music and barbeque at it's finest!  We slow cook 300 pounds of pork all day, chop it, add the sauce, and make some of the best barbeque sandwiches you'll ever eat!   Served with Fuzzy's Famous BBQ slaw, you can eat good and listen to some of the finest bluegrass picking in the area. This event is held on the second Saturday of the month.  Bring your lawn chairs and your clogging boards!

October Festival is the biggest and best of all the events, with the home made apple butter, which is made from early Friday morning until Saturday morning, when the party folks arrive.  Many of the jars are still warm when the folks purchase them. The home made meal, as described to the left of the picture above, will satisfy the most discriminating eater.  The concession stand, with such things as hot dogs, soft drinks, candy bars, and homemade cakes and pies, is open during the entire festival. The "Ladies Auxiliary" makes hundreds of Baked Apple Pie, for sale while others are making the Apple Butter. Vendors of Arts and Crafts are lined up for your enjoyment and purchasing pleasures.  Four different Bluegrass bands, that play all day from 10:00 am to 8:00 pm or later, keep your toes tapping and the dancers active. If you like to dance this is the place, and if you don't it is still fun to listen to the music, and watch those that do. It is a fine fun event for old and young alike, and a fantastic family event. Bring your lawn chairs and a smile!  No alcohol allowed on the premises.  Come and join us on the second Saturday in October.
